Greek Letter Chapters, the Collegiate Department will likely be your
most valuable resource! We cover all of the basics of running a
chapter, all of the policies and procedures, form requirements and due
dates, finances, ideas, retreats, socials, you name it.
If
you're an officer or a member who is interested in learning more about
the ins and outs of what it takes to run a successful chapter, you've

CALENDARS
The Executive Board should plan the chapter calendar including all
relevant school events, chapter events, greek events, etc...at least a
semester if not a full year in advance. It is a
ELECTIONS

- The
Administrative Vice President along with the President and Chapter
Advisor is responsible for reviewing the election procedures each year
and conducting elections exactly as outline in the President's Book.
- The
AVP is responsible to review the election process with the new member
class and refresh the chapter each year BEFORE the process
starts.
- The four to six weeks needed to
conduct elections should be planned on the chapter calendar at least a
semester in advance.
- Presentation of Slate and Elections need to be held at formal meetings.

- EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
- ALCOHOL
– The majority of Alcohol violations are handled by the Executive
Council – this includes but is not limited to: ALL violations of
GPB Alcohol and Risk Management Policies, lending IDs,
buying/providiing alcohol for underage members, police or
college/university citations, repeat intoxication violations,
possessing alcohol on GPB property, etc…
- CHEATING
- DRUGS
- FINANCES
- HAZING
- HOUSING – any violations of International GPB Bylaws and Rules & Procedures
- VIOLATIONS
OF: obligations of membership, financial/HCB delinquency, any
rules/policies of the Sorority or chapter, disloyal to the Sorority or
conduct detrimental to the Sorority's well being.
- STANDARDS
- Minor, first time violations, i.e.
- ALCOHOL
– Standards committee generally handles the first instance of
intoxication, provided there was no alcohol policy violation –
i.e. member was of legal age to consume alcohol, and no other policies
violated. Most violations however, are handled by the Executive Council

- HOUSING – i.e. phone duty, meal attendance, parlor and house duties, etc..
